All wedding cake orders must be placed at least 3 weeks in advance.
All specialty cake and confection orders must be place a minimum of 1 week in advance.
There will be an additional charge for "rush" orders if the schedule permits.
Each product made by Chaos Cakes and Confections is priced on a order-by-order basis and costs are determined by a number of factors. Please contact us with your order inquiries. If we are unavailable to take your call, please leave a message or send us an email and we will get back with you as promptly as possible regarding your preferences and an estimate for your custom creation.
A minimum of one dozen cupcakes/cookies is required for special ordering.
Taste Testing / Wedding Consult (decorations, event planning etc.)
Taste tests are provided at the location of your choice (i.e. your home, office, etc...yes we come to you!). The fee for your testing starts at $25 which includes 4 flavors of cake and 2 icings. Additional flavors will increase the taste testing fee. Wedding consults for planning, decorating, etc. is $25 per hour. The travel fee for the taste testing/consult is FREE if we are meeting within a 5 miles radius of the zip code 20112. Outside of this radius there will be a small fee in addition to the taste testing/consult fee.
Our confections are packaged carefully in boxes. If you are interested in favors or gifts, we can individually box each order in individual decorator boxes or in individual treat bags with ribbon for an extra fee.

Delivery and set up
Cakes and confections are made-to-order and are available for delivery. There is a delivery fee dependent upon distance and volume of order. Delivery is FREE for any delivery made within a 5 mile radius of zip code 20112. Fees will vary for deliveries made outside of this 5 mile radius.
Set up is included in the price of your cake or confection if it is requested.
We accept payments in the form of cash, check, PayPal and credit cards via Square. Upon placement of an order, an contract/invoice will be sent to you via email. The contract MUST be signed and returned via email, agreeing to all the terms of the order within 1 week prior to your event date. Once the signed contract and deposit have been received, the confirmation process is completed and the order will be placed on our schedule.
Changes or Cancellations
Any changes to an order must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate your change request. Any changes to an order will result in an adjustment of your balance due. A new invoice/contract will be sent via email reflecting all changes and new balance which MUST be signed and returned.
Cancellations must be made 72 hours or earlier, prior to the date of delivery with the exception of wedding cake orders. Deposit is refundable if cancellation is made at least 72 hours or sooner, prior to date of delivery, 1 week prior for wedding cakes. If cancellation is made less then 72 hours prior to date of delivery, or less than 1 week for wedding cakes, the deposit is non-refundable. To cancel your order you MUST call and talk to someone in person. Leaving a message or sending an email is not sufficient and will not be accepted as a cancellation.
Additional fees will be assessed for any equipment rentals (fountains, columns, etc.) or elaborate decorating required for your order. These fees will vary.
